kaboostA Review…

I was sent a KABOOST Portable Chair Booster by KABOOST Corporation to review for this site. I have a 19 month old daughter, so she quickly became my tester for this product.

The KABOOST is a compact and portable chair booster that raises the height of kitchen and dining room chairs so a child can sit at the table just like an adult. It is the same height as a standard booster seat and will grow with your child. It is compact and lightweight, easy to fold and carry, made of heavy duty plastic and can hold up to 300 lbs. It comes in three different colors: green, chocolate and natural.

The product is designed to stretch and snap onto the bottom of a chair in seconds. I placed it on the bottom of one of my kitchen chairs, and it really was quick and painless. Grips on the bottom of the KABOOST keep a chair from slipping on and scratching the floor. I have a hardwood floor in my kitchen, so this is a very important feature for me. The recommended age for this product is 20 months to 6 years old, so my daughter is a still little young for it, but I do believe in a few months it will be perfect for her. My daughter is a major wiggle worm, and right now, she really needs to be belted into a seat.

My daughter and I tested the seat last night because she was being extremely moody and didn’t want to sit in her high chair for very long. She didn’t eat much dinner, and I needed her to eat just a little more food. I decided to sit her in the chair with the KABOOST on it, and she immediately thought is was neat to be sitting in a “grown up” chair. She really liked being at the right height at the table. I handed her a yogurt and a spoon and she proceeded to finish eating her dinner.

I highly recommend the KABOOST for anyone that has a child that wants to sit at the table like a “big girl or boy”!
